Cards

The greeting cards and stationery shop in Rheged was a real test of our ability to make something from nothing. The budget was extremely tight, and since no money was available for either flooring or lighting, we had to very much make the best of the space we had.

We built tables out of discarded pallets, and wrapped old table tops in brown paper to smarten the look. Other tables were made from cheap timber doors with trestle legs, similar to what can be seen in Splash Out. The bespoke shelving hooks and wrap stands were cheaply made to break up the monotony of card displays, and overall the look is one of functionality with class.
