Tebay Services made the decision to open a unit dedicated to takeaway products due to a growing demand for a quicker service in this area. The brief required us to produce a simple and straightforward design that facilitated a fast service for a small takeaway café with three service points, two hot displays, and a small shelf that displays pick-up lines of chocolate at point-of-sale.

We kept the design clean and simple, adding interest in the form of hand-painted illustrations on the ceiling for a crafted feel. We designed a bespoke menu system with interchangeable parts to suit the practice of changing products throughout the day.

We also designed baskets with a rough-sawn painted timber to hold crisp packets and effectively hide the lower front of the utilitarian fridges while allowing for the storage of lots of product.
